This Recovering Doc is a Recovery Coach
Hi there! I’m a down to earth semi-retired family physician with personal, family and professional experience in recovery. I’m new to recovery coaching but very experienced with helping others. I completed the CCAR recovery coaching certification training through Recovery4All. My “doctor bag” is full of knowledge and experiences on all sides of recovery and lots of experience in the health care environments including addiction treatment. While my recovery program is anchored in 12-step program, I have knowledge and commitment to multiple pathways to recovery. I’m currently completing a graduate certificate in addiction counseling. I’m interested in helping anyone affected by the disease of addiction - those addicted, as well as their family, friends, coworkers, and any others concerned or affected.
